Non-Swimmer Tasks

Hiya peoples,

So lately for week 7 & 8, we had swimming, and since not everybody wanted to/could go the teachers set up a number of tasks for the non-swimmers to do but each week we only had to at least complete 2 and blog 1, But I kinda forgot to blog one last week so I'm blogging it now.

The tasks I chose to do were fairly simple but I have chosen my 2 favorites to show to you the first one is the alien invasion - 

Basically, for this task, we had to create a mini-story of an alien invasion but we could choose if the aliens were good or bad but I think that's for you to choose because in all fairness the alien could be lying to you but you don't know that, also for this one can you please say if you would trust the alien or not in the comments?

The second task was to Create a Superhero/villain -

For this task, we had to create a superhero or villain and give them a back story and I kinda based it a little on My Hero Academia but I think it turned out well,

My Holidays! and my video essay that I haven't finished...

So for literacy, we had to do a video essay about a genre and my teacher was ever so kind to let me do mine on anime (yes I know not technically a genre, and yes I like anime) and I have not finished it yet and I very much need to because it is overdue, BUT it's almost done so please don't nag me for it, and also here is what I have done so far, and also also I would highly recommend this site if you are doing a video essay,  anyways here it is so far...

Well, let's just say that my holidays were a very interesting time... 

Want a list of the things that happened during my holidays? No? Too bad here it is... 

(it's in order of what I did)

-  Big highland dancing comp (no I did not win but I got 25 dollars out of it)

-  Sleepover 

-  Wedding (not mine obviously)

So during the sleepover, me and two of my friends had a very amazing time we did some questionable roleplays on Roblox and we also played a few horror games and one of them (not actually a horror game but it scared us a lot) was called Jurassic Park tycoon and let's just say herbivores are very very scary and I screamed a lot so basically, in this game, you have to hunt for your dinosaurs and uh the carnivores tend to chase you but the herbivores don't so I thought the herbivores were harmless so I walked up to one and touched it (keep in mind this is on Roblox) and it uh... it gave a very sudden roar to me and since I thought it was  harmless I ended up getting a very very big scare, leading to me screaming and I'm not usually one to scream, but yeah my friends just looked at me and I was laughing at myself, and the wedding was very emotional just if you wanted to know, also please don't hessitate to tell me about your holidays I would love to hear about them and sorry if I never reply to your comments for some reason I can't comment,

Sign Lauguage Week!

So as you know this week is language week and since every Wednesday we have technology we got to do a task about language week and for this task, we had to video ourselves signing in our name in the NZ sign language, also another thing, if you would like to learn some little things in sign language then visit this sight called "Sign Ninja" its a site that teaches you some simple things in NZ sign language in a fun way (basically it's a game that teaches you NZ sign language) but anyways here is my video I hope you like it and please tell me if I got anything wrong or what I could do better like signing this slower,

A movie maths task...

 Minasan Kon'nichiwa! (みなさん、こんにちは)

(Btw this means hello everybody in Japanese)

So I'm not sure if this has any relation for anything we have been doing in maths but the task was to make a time table for three different movies and then have people solve the questions you would make about the movie time table and here is mine!

I hope you like it and again please tell me in the comments what i could do better next time and while doing that if you want you can put your answers and when I can I will tell you if its right or wrong, but anyways see you next time,

So in maths, we have been looking at the probability of coin flips and trying to figure out the formula to figure out how many outcomes you would have to depend on how many times you flipped the coin, without writing all the outcomes down, and here is my animation on how to figure it out I hope you like it, and please comment what I could do better next time as well as commenting down your answer but anyways,
